Overview
Papua Diving describes Ransiwor as a gentle sloping reef full of small cleaning stations and lists it as 5 minutes away by boat. Raja Ampat Biodiversity Nature Resort also describes a sloping reef, with several big cleaning stations where marine life gathers. PADI's page for the site, contributed by Papua Diving - Sorido Bay, calls it an easy and relaxing site for divers of all experience levels, with little to no current, a gentle sloping reef and an abundance of cleaning stations. Both Papua Diving and Raja Ampat Biodiversity Nature Resort list it as snorkel friendly.
Conditions
Accounts of the current differ: PADI's page describes little to no current and a Wannadive.net contributor rated it low, under 1 knot, while Raja Ampat Biodiversity Nature Resort lists mild to strong current and says to expect more of a drift dive than at Yenbuba. Depth figures differ as well: Raja Ampat Biodiversity Nature Resort gives 3 to 30 metres, PADI's page gives a maximum of 40 metres, and the Wannadive.net entry gives a maximum of 21 metres with an average of 13 metres. The Wannadive.net entry reports good visibility of 10 to 30 metres and access by boat, and lists boat traffic as a danger.
Papua Diving rates the dive level as beginner, Raja Ampat Biodiversity Nature Resort lists it for all levels, and the Wannadive.net entry gives the experience level as CMAS one star or Open Water. PADI's page lists Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Night Diver as useful training for the site.
Marine life
Papua Diving describes it as a good dive for turtles and sweetlips, with a big school of yellowback fusiliers that stays with divers during the dive. Raja Ampat Biodiversity Nature Resort reports that the site often has schools of bumphead parrotfish, oriental sweetlips, cuttlefish and several pipefish species, including the ornate ghost pipefish, as well as the yellow scorpion leaf fish. PADI's page says its encounters suit photographers who want to spend time with their subjects. One Wannadive.net contributor found healthy corals but not much marine life of interest.
