Reef · Drift · Pinnacle · Drop-off

On the north-west outer edge of the Apo Reef plateau near Binangaan Islet and the historic lighthouse, Shark Ridge is the marquee shark-encounter dive of Apo Reef Natural Park — the world's second-largest contiguous coral reef after the GBR. Strong outer-edge currents funnel whitetip and blacktip reef sharks, occasional grey reefs, and seasonal mantas onto the ridge.
