About This Dive Site
Burias Shoal is an offshore reef located approximately 15 minutes by boat from Mantigue Island, near Mahinog. This site is renowned for its dramatic topography, featuring steep slopes dropping to significant depths. Divers can explore a vibrant coral reef boasting a mix of hard and soft coral formations, as well as dense black coral bushes and sponges. The site is characterized by moderate to strong currents, which attract large schools of pelagic fish. It offers a thrilling mix of reef, slope, and open-water diving, making it a captivating spot for experienced divers.
