Ghost Town

Ghost Town is a well-regarded dive site located in Sogod Bay, Southern Leyte, Philippines, situated approximately 2.5 kilometers north of Napantao Marine Sanctuary. This site is particularly celebrated by underwater photographers and macro enthusiasts for its distinctive black sand substrate, which provides a dramatic contrast for a wide array of small, fascinating marine creatures. Divers can expect to find an abundance of nudibranchs, various species of octopus and eels, as well as ghost pipefish and frogfish, making it a prime location for critter hunting. The topography of Ghost Town is characterized by a sandy slope that ranges from 5 to 18 meters, transitioning into a deeper wall area known as Santa Paz.
