Great Canyons
About this name: Great Canyons may be the dive listed elsewhere as Grand Canyons. The naming relationship and shallow depth are not confirmed.

About This Dive Site
The coordinate source names this dive Great Canyons. Artistic Diving describes a network of reef ravines at approximately 10–15 metres. Easy Diving lists a potentially related Grand Canyons at 6–15 metres. The naming relationship and shallow depth remain uncertain.
This is a partial site guide based on retained dive listings. Conditions, access, seasonal suitability and current operating arrangements have not been checked by a local diver. The map position comes from a published dive-site dataset and should be confirmed with a local operator before planning a visit.

Ravines, crawfish and the house reef
Artistic Diving’s archived 2019 description calls Great Canyons a labyrinth of ravines at about 10–15 m and says crawfish are regularly seen in the gorges. It also says the site can be dived by non-experienced divers and belongs to the operator’s house reef. These are historical operator statements: they do not confirm today’s suitability, access or animal numbers, and the naming relationship with Easy Diving’s Grand Canyons remains unresolved.
The same canyons under two names
The name Great Canyons appears on Artistic Diving's own lists: its page archived in March 2008 describes Great Canyons as really great canyons to dive through like a labyrinth, all at 8 to 17 metres, very suitable for beginners and masters, and says the site belongs to the then new Sipalay City marine sanctuary. Its page archived in 2019 keeps the name, gives about 10 to 15 metres and marks the site as a marine protected area and dive reserve. Easy Diving's lists archived in 2014 and 2025 use the name Grand Canyons with the same labyrinth wording and 6 to 15 metres, and a cebu-travel.com directory page repeats Easy Diving's entry word for word. The 2008 Artistic Diving wording is otherwise identical to Easy Diving's, so these lists are one shared lineage rather than independent confirmation, and the three depth ranges, 8 to 17, about 10 to 15 and 6 to 15 metres, are left as published. DivePlanner Pro's directory lists Grand Canyons as a beginner-level site reachable from both Easy Diving Sipalay and Sea Explorers Sipalay; that is a directory rating, not an operator briefing.
Canyons described from the neighbouring Disneyland dive
Artistic Diving's 2019 description of Disneyland, which it places directly in front of its house reef, says the second half of that dive leads into canyons where ravines about 2 metres wide branch out like a labyrinth at a depth of 10 metres, with hardly any current or surface waves. The page does not say whether those ravines are the Great Canyons dive, and no identity between the two is asserted here.
