PADI's dive-site page for Kidopong, fetched in October 2026, describes "a popular dive site that offers diverse underwater topography, including steep walls, sandy slopes, and a coral garden" where divers may encounter "colorful fish, rays, and occasional sea turtles". It gives a maximum depth of 25 meters, says the site "is accessible by boat and is often combined with nearby dive sites", lists the dive types as reef and ocean and the entry as boat, names PADI Open Water Diver and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver as useful training, and suggests a dive computer and surface marker buoy. The listed position is 6.96486, 125.71629, the point this guide uses. The page is a short catalogue description and none of its figures have been confirmed locally.

No independent description of Kidopong was found in this review. The DivePlanner Pro aggregator page calls Kidopong "an intermediate dive site in the Davao Gulf" with "coral slopes and rocky formations" to twenty-five meters, but its text mirrors PADI's figures and is treated as derivative rather than a second witness.
