Leonardo
About this name: The coordinate source calls this site Leonardo. It may correspond to Leonardo Reef or Leonardo's Reef, but that match is not confirmed.

About This Dive Site
The coordinate source names this dive Leonardo. Operators list Leonardo Reef or Leonardo's Reef near Artistic Diving, but the shortened name alone does not prove the listings are identical. Operator depths and entry details are not transferred to this pin until that relationship is resolved.
This is a partial site guide based on retained dive listings. Conditions, access, seasonal suitability and current operating arrangements have not been checked by a local diver. The map position comes from a published dive-site dataset and should be confirmed with a local operator before planning a visit.

What the operators call Leonardo's Reef
Artistic Diving's own prose, archived in October 2019, describes "Leonardo Reef" as "located at the entrance to ARTISTIC DIVING", where "you can snorkel without a boat and go diving", with "freshly covered hard and soft corals", a maximum depth of 15 metres and suitability for beginners and photography. Its 2009 English list calls it a "healthy coral house reef with hard and soft corals", "max. depths at 15 m", "just in front of our resort". Easy Diving's dive-sites page, archived in April 2014 and May 2025, lists "Leonardo's Reef" as a "healthy coral reef with hard and soft corals" at "up to 15m". A ScubaBoard post of January 2008 quotes a travel article in which Arthur Mueller, the Swiss owner of Artistic Diving, is said to have "the unique privilege of naming" Sipalay's dive sites as one of its pioneers, which fits the personal names in both operators' lists.
Why the pin is still kept separate
Zentacle's directory record, which supplies this pin's coordinates, is titled simply "Leonardo", grades it beginner, lists a maximum depth of 49.2 feet, about 15 metres, and carries only boilerplate text; it names Ayer's Rock, Manta Drop, Kevin's Reef and A-Rock among its "Other Locations Nearby". The 15-metre figure matches the operators' Leonardo Reef, but that match does not prove the directory entry and the operators' house reef are the same place. Operator depths and the shore-entry description are therefore reported here as the operators' statements about Leonardo Reef, not as attributes of this pin.
