Mystery Wall

Archived operators describe a deep wall intended for deep-diving itineraries. Reported ranges differ: Easy Diving gives 35–70 metres in prose and 38–75 metres in its listing; Artistic Diving gives 36–75 metres. Its claimed distance of about 40 miles from the base also needs checking against the sourced pin.

What the archived listings say

Sipalay Easy Diving & Beach Resort's dive-site page, in a Wayback Machine snapshot of 29 May 2025, lists the site as "Mistery Wall" under a "Precipises" heading. It calls it a "Beautiful Drop Off" that "starts at 35 down to 70 meters", adds "Only for Deep Divers" and "Large Turtles can be seen", and carries a separate figure of "38-75m". Artistic Diving's English page, in a snapshot of 21 October 2019, describes a "great slope" that is "only for deep-divers", says the wall "begins at 36m and drops vertically to 75m", and reports "Many butterfly fish, turtles and baracudas" and that "Sometimes strong currents can arise." These operators belong to one shared historical source family, so they are treated here as one lineage rather than independent confirmation.

Other dated mentions

A Takatuka Lodge page, in a snapshot of 3 July 2008, calls the site "A beautiful drop off. For advanced divers only" with a stated depth of "35 - 70 meters". A German-language Taucher.Net guest report of 23 January 2005 about Easy Diving groups Mystery Wall with another site as dives for experienced divers "Auf 30+ Metern" with large gorgonians, schools of tuna, jacks and mackerel and, with luck, sharks. That sentence covers both sites together and does not say which animals belong to which. A German-language Taucher.Net report of 6 February 2011 about Artistic Diving lists Mystery Wall at "36 - 70 Meter".

Directory record

Zentacle's directory entry, retrieved 8 October 2026, lists the site as advanced, with access by boat and a maximum depth of 147.6 ft. Its text reads "Only for deep divers! The wall starts at 38m and vertically goes down to 75m." The directory maximum is shallower than the operators' wall figures, and this guide does not reconcile the differences between the 35, 36 and 38 metre starts or the 70 and 75 metre bottoms. Treat every figure as a dated operator or directory statement, not a surveyed range.
