Welcome to Sabang Point, one of Puerto Galera's most celebrated dive sites, renowned for its exceptional biodiversity and accessibility. Located on the eastern shoulder of Sabang Bay, this dive site offers a truly captivating experience for divers of all levels, particularly those with an Open Water certification seeking a relaxed yet rewarding exploration.
At Sabang Point, divers will find a vibrant and healthy coral slope that gently tumbles down, eventually breaking into a small wall before meeting a white sandy bottom at a maximum depth of 28 m. While the average recreational depth is often around 18-25 m, the site offers plenty to explore across its varied topography. The reef is densely upholstered in multi-coloured crinoids and pristine hard corals, creating a breathtaking underwater landscape that truly embodies Puerto Galera's reputation as the "Center of the Center of Marine Biodiversity."
Its shore-proximate and sheltered profile makes Sabang Point an ideal location for both day and night dives. By day, it's a relaxed reef exploration perfectly suited to newer divers, allowing ample time to appreciate the intricate details of the reef.
