Grey Snapper

A wary, olive-grey reef predator that shelters in shaded ledges and wreck holds by day and disperses over sand and seagrass to hunt small fish and crustaceans after dark. Juveniles use mangrove and seagrass nurseries before moving onto reef and wreck habitat as adults, a textbook mangrove-to-reef life cycle.
