Arthur's Rock

A protected sanctuary reef and gentle slope tumbling over boulders and coral-covered outcrops, just south of the famous Twin Rocks. Soft corals, sea fans, whip corals, feather stars and sponges blanket the rock, sheltering nudibranchs, ribbon eels, scorpionfish and clouds of small reef fish, with groupers, snappers and the occasional turtle patrolling the slope. Currents are usually mild and can give a pleasant gentle drift; visibility is good, making this a relaxed reef dive for all levels that doubles as an easy night dive. Named for Arthur's Place Dive Resort directly onshore.
