Tech Asia is a premier technical diving specialist located on Small La Laguna Beach in Barangay Sabang, Puerto Galera, situated behind Arkipelago Resort. With over two decades of expertise, this independent establishment is a recognized Green Fins member, dedicated to promoting sustainable marine tourism.

Certification Courses

Tech Asia offers an extensive range of technical diving certifications from leading agencies, catering to divers looking to advance their skills up to instructor levels.

• TDI Courses: Includes Intro to Tech, Advanced Nitrox, Decompression Procedures, Helitrox, Trimix and Advanced Trimix, Advanced Wreck, Gas Blender, DPV Diver, Sidemount Diver, Drysuit Diver, and Instructor Training for all levels.
• PADI TecRec Courses: Offers Tec 40, Tec 45, Tec 50, Tec Trimix 65, Tec Trimix Diver, Tec Sidemount Diver, DPV Diver, Drysuit Diver, and Tec Gas Blender.
• GUE Programs: As a host facility, Tech Asia supports GUE Fundamentals, Technical Diver 1, Technical Diver 2, and DPV1 Diver certifications, with visiting instructors often conducting classes.

Equipment and Services

The shop provides comprehensive support for technical diving, including daily guided trips to deep dive sites in the Verde Island Passage.

• Equipment Rental and Sales: Tech Asia offers BCD and regulator use for their own courses and provides accessory item rentals. They also have a fleet of Suex XJ-37 DPVs available for rent. They are an authorized Divesoft dive shop.
• Gas Fills: Specializing in technical gas logistics, including oxygen cleaning services and portable systems for small-scale gas blending.
• Guiding Services: Experienced instructors lead dives, including rebreather dives with staff support, with a fixed charge to cover consumables.
• Maintenance: Qualified servicing for Halcyon regulators and lights, Suex DPVs, and drysuit inspections and basic repairs are available.
• Expeditions: The shop organizes expedition and liveaboard trips within the Philippines and internationally, including to historic shipwrecks.

Located on Small La Laguna Beach, Tech Asia provides easy access to the rich dive sites of the Verde Island Passage, known for its exceptional biodiversity.

• Local Dive Sites: Specializes in accessing deep dive sites such as the Japanese Wreck and Turtle Rock, which extend past recreational limits. Other notable sites in the area include The Canyons, popular with technical divers, and Dungon Wall.
• Dive Environment: The Verde Island Passage features deep water and strong currents, creating high-energy drift dives and a diverse marine environment with a mix of reef slopes, sandy flats, and pristine outer walls extending beyond 40 meters.
