About This Dive Site
Adrian's Wall is listed by Sogod Bay Scuba Resort as a dive site in Southern Leyte. The operator describes a deep wall around Limasawa Island.
The relationship between Adrian’s Wall and Adrian’s Cove is not independently confirmed. This record follows the operator’s Adrian’s Wall map label; no separate Adrian’s Cove record is created. The source pin is an operator map location, not a surveyed navigation waypoint.
This partial guide preserves the operator’s published location while further checks are pending. Current entry arrangements, depth limits, currents, visibility and seasonal conditions remain unconfirmed here. Confirm the intended site and a suitable dive plan with a local operator.
Adrian's Wall and Adrian's Cove in the sources
Sogod Bay Scuba Resort's current map data, captured on 7 October 2026, places "Adrian's Wall" on Limasawa's east side at 20–50 metres, advanced level and a day trip, describing the signature Limasawa wall plunging into deep blue water with gorgonian fans and an occasional whale shark. The same resort's 2019 listing on Bluewater Dive Travel used the name "Adrians Cove" with an identical 20–50 metre range and the same dark, steep-wall description, and every other source reviewed writes Adrian's Cove: Peter's Dive Resort, Padre Burgos Castle Resort, Dive Happy, Lakwatsero and the Live Life the Philippines guide. The resort's own change of label is the strongest sign that the two names describe one site, but no source says so explicitly, so this record keeps the map label and the earlier caution.
What divers describe
Live Life the Philippines, published in August 2025 and updated in June 2026, describes Adrian's Cove as a small cove on the east side of the island with a micro coral shelf leading to a dramatic wall, warns that currents can be strong, and advises that a group dropped downstream of the boat faces a hard swim back to the ladder. Lakwatsero's May 2010 post dived Adrian's Cove as a wall with large, colourful corals, oversized pufferfish and sea squirts, staying to a maximum of 24 metres for 45 minutes; that is the writer's profile, not the wall's extent. Peter's Dive Resort's Limasawa section describes walls from about 5 metres at the top past black coral into gorgonian fans, with overhangs and small caves, and lists Gunter's Wall, Zach's Cove and Adrian's Cove as the most visited sites inside the largest sanctuary in Southern Leyte. Dive Happy's guide, updated after an April 2024 visit, pairs Adrian's Cove and Zach's Cove as remarkably pretty marine-protected-area dives about 30 minutes by boat. Padre Burgos Castle Resort gives 20–50 metres with steep dark walls, gorgonian fans and massive table corals for Limasawa's coves.
Limits of the evidence
The whale shark in the resort summary is described as occasional. A PADI blog post from February 2020 recounts a training dive at Limasawa over a deep wall of black corals, fans and anthias in strong current without naming the site, and the LAMAVE account by Gonzalo Araujo of a January 2020 trip reports four unnamed Limasawa dives with schools of fish, giant barracuda and frogfish. None of these fixes an entry point, a boundary with Gunter's Wall or Zack's Cove, or a measured depth. The 20–50 metre figure is an operator listing range; Lakwatsero's 24 metre maximum is a single visit.
