Coco White South, Anda
Coco White South is a separately named wall dive on the Anda coast of Bohol. Bernds Liveaboard describes coral habitat with nudibranchs and orangutan crabs. Keep the South name when discussing the dive: neighbouring Coco White North has its own entry and its observations should not automatically transfer here.
Coral wall and overhangs
PADI's Coco South description, contributed by Magic Oceans Dive Resort, starts the reef around 3 metres and describes a wall continuing to 30 metres and beyond. Hard and soft corals, barrel sponges and overhangs form the main landscape. The account associates the sheltered features with nudibranchs and crustaceans. It lists boat access, although a particular departure point or schedule still needs local confirmation.
Bernds' South account describes a wall reaching 24 metres. Magic Oceans' site sheet gives 25 metres in a general depth column, while PADI's structured maximum is 30 metres. Those figures do not establish that each source measured the same route or the wall's entire extent. The exact maximum remains unresolved; none of the numbers is a target depth for your dive.
Small subjects and wider scenery
Magic Oceans lists mantis shrimp, nudibranchs, turtles, frogfish and crabs in its South row and identifies both macro and wide-angle photography interests. These are operator reports, not guaranteed encounters. PADI and the operator's sheet share a source, so their overlap should not be mistaken for independent confirmation.
Master Liveaboards describes Coco White as an extensive wall commonly divided into North and South. Its combined account provides context for the two names, but does not locate every sea fan or animal observation within the southern section. Ask which section and habitat the planned dive will cover.
Planning and unresolved details
Whether the nearby directory name Biton Resort Housereef overlaps Coco White South remains unconfirmed. This guide keeps the existing identities separate and does not establish a new map position.
WikiBubbles labels the current variable. Treat that as a directory report and confirm present conditions locally. Reliable site-specific visibility, temperature extremes and a seasonal window remain unverified. PADI's suggested courses do not establish a minimum qualification for every route; discuss the planned depth and overhangs with the operator when choosing a dive suited to your training and experience.
Combined and older accounts
A Bohol.ph article dated 19 June 2010 describes Coco White as one very large site divided into Coco White North and Coco White South, opposite Coco White Resort and reached by banca. It reports a very attractive steep wall from 4 metres to 30 metres with a wide cave at 27 metres and reminds divers to bring a torch. The article does not assign the cave to either section, so it is not placed within South here.
Dive The World's Bohol guide also treats Coco White as sometimes divided into north and south, describing a steep wall where there may be pygmy seahorses on sea fans, frogfish, mantis shrimp, nudibranchs and turtles. These remain combined-site reports.
The 24-metre figure has one lineage
Blue Star Dive & Resort's dive-site page, last modified in December 2015, gives Coco White South as a reef wall going down to 24 metres with nudibranchs, orangutan crabs and a chance of Spanish mackerel in the blue. Bernds Liveaboard's Anda page, archived in December 2025, repeats that wording almost exactly, so the 24-metre wall and the mackerel report count as one source lineage, not two. Scubaverse's profile of Magic Oceans Dive Resort, published in July 2025, lists Coco south among 27 numbered dive sites.
