Wall · Reef · Drop-off

A vivid coral wall on the Anda peninsula, accented with overhangs and crevices that shelter their namesake schools of snappers. The reef runs from roughly 4 metres at the top down past 30, its face studded with multicoloured gorgonian sea fans that hide several Bargibant's pygmy seahorses, alongside yellow frogfish, scorpionfish and a wealth of nudibranchs, some of them rare. Reef squid, banded sea kraits, crabs and shrimps round out the cast, and turtles cruise the wall. Mild currents and Anda's famously clear dry-season water make it a rewarding mix of wide-angle reef scenery and patient macro hunting.
