Operator descriptions
Sogod Bay Scuba Resort's dive-site map data, captured on 7 October 2026, lists Olly's Wall in its "Napantao & Panaon" group with a range of 8 to 45 metres, a boat time of 40 to 45 minutes and a level of "Advanced", tagged wall and reef. Its summary reads: "Another dramatic Panaon wall with healthy coral cover and reliable visibility, ideal for drifting along the drop-off." Peter's Dive Resort names Olly's Wall among the "other challenges" of a Panaon dive tour alongside Sonok Point, Jun's Pinnacle and Ghost Town, without describing it. Dive Happy's article, revised after an April 2024 visit, says the pristine reef at Napantao "continues further along at Olly's Wall (actually more of a slope with wall-y interludes)".
Dated visitor accounts
Selsey Bill Sub Aqua Club's report for 8 March 2018, diving with Sogod Bay Scuba Resort, logged Olly's Wall after a Santa Paz dive and described it as "a steep slope", preferring it to wall diving for photography; the group saw a couple of turtles, slugs and a ray, and a small whale shark passed the boat before they entered the water. A LAMAVE account of a January 2020 liveaboard itinerary records "two dives in Olly's wall and ghost town in San Francisco" on the east side of Sogod Bay. A ScubaBoard member posting on 22 February 2024 dived Jun's Pinnacle and Olly's Wall after crossing the bay once the wind dropped, and called Olly's Wall "a bit of anticlimax after the pinnacle but still an enjoyable dive". A ScubaBoard trip report of 30 December 2025 lists Olly's Wall among eleven sites dived from Sogod Bay Scuba Resort. The "wall" in the name and the "slope" in two visitor accounts are both recorded here; the operator's 45 metre figure is a listed maximum, and no account gives a measured visibility or a fixed position relative to Napantao.
