Cabilao's signature dive: a near-vertical wall that runs roughly 100 metres parallel to the island's west shore, cresting near 5 metres and plunging well past recreational depth. Entry is about 100 metres off the beach. The face is a tapestry of hard and soft corals, barrel sponges and some of the largest gorgonian sea fans in the region, riddled with overhangs and small caves. Macro hunters work the fans for pygmy seahorses and rare nudibranchs, while frogfish, scorpionfish and crustaceans hide in the folds. Best dived in the afternoon when the light rakes the wall, rewarding both wide-angle and macro photographers.
