Twin Rocks

Two large granitic boulders rise from a sand-and-coral slope inside a community marine protected area in Mabini, Batangas, at the mouth of the Verde Island Passage — the "center of the center" of marine shorefish biodiversity (1,736 overlapping species in a 10 km radius per Carpenter & Springer 2005). The site is the poster macro / nudibranch dive of Anilao, with 200+ documented nudibranch species in the surrounding sanctuary.
