Beatrice Rock

Beatrice is a fully submerged boulder complex whose peak sits at 7–8 m, breaking into short drop-offs and channels that step down to 27 m — with Beatrice 2, a deeper cluster of giant rocks to the NW, running 25–40 m. This is Anilao's current magnet: at neap tide it's a tranquil coral garden, at spring tide a "roaring" drift where anthias stream sideways and jacks hunt the flow. Triggerfish, snapper and surgeonfish swarm the shallows, turtles rest in the channels, and blue-ringed octopus hide in the rubble. Dive it on the tide tables, not on a whim.
