Reef · Wall · Drift · Drop-off

A steep coral slope on the sanctuary's eastern flank, Diver's Heaven drops from a shallow plateau at around 7-10 metres to a wall bottoming near 40 metres. Healthy hard and soft corals carpet the slope, and the blue water off the edge regularly fills with schooling bigeye trevally and great barracuda. Green and hawksbill turtles are an almost constant presence, grazing the reef and cruising the drop. Smaller treasures hide in the coral, from leaf scorpionfish to ghost pipefish. Usually run as a relaxed drift from the bangka, it suits a wide range of divers when the current is gentle.
