About This Dive Site
Entalula's west wall
PADI's West Entalula Wall entry places the route in Entalula's west bay and credits Tabanka as a contributor. It describes a wall with a coral-garden section. El Nido Paradise separately lists South Entalula, so the south reef should not be treated as the same route.
Different depth descriptions
PADI reports a 3–10 m garden and a wall reaching 32 m; El Nido Paradise lists West Entalula at 5–36 m. The starting sections and maximum reports differ. PADI and Tabanka should not be counted as independent confirmation of the same claim.
Match the booking to the wall
Confirm that an Entalula booking visits the west wall, and ask which section is planned. The sources do not establish one surveyed whole-site range or a universal certification requirement. PADI's suggested training is not presented here as a mandatory qualification.
Limestone face and coral garden
The PADI description contributed by Tabanka connects the cliff above the surface with a limestone wall below it, ending on sand. Cracks and overhangs give the face a different appearance from the west bay's shallower coral garden. Some recesses are described as looking like small caves; that appearance is not evidence of a surveyed passage or an invitation to enter. The wall and garden are separate parts of the reported outing, so an itinerary named only Entalula leaves useful detail to confirm.
Light and wildlife reports
The contributor describes light reaching the wall at different times depending on the season. Treat that as a photographic feature to ask about locally, rather than a dependable daily appointment with particular lighting or visibility. Its narrative mentions turtles and hunting tuna passing beyond the wall, but supplies no encounter frequencies. The page's broader sighting lists are not used here to promise whales, dolphins or any other large animal. PADI credits a third-party contributor, so its listing and Tabanka's own page do not constitute two independent underwater observations.
Distinguish the wall from the drift
Palawan Divers describes two Entalula outings: a vertical wall and a shallower drift along the southwestern reef. Its wall account reports soft corals, whip corals and sea fans, with small subjects including crabs, pipefish and shrimp. The separate drift's fish list should not automatically be assigned to the wall.
The operator's own wall page gives 5–30 metres in the narrative but 5–35 metres in its information table. That internal difference adds another reason to confirm the intended profile rather than select one published maximum. Its approximate 45-minute boat journey also depends on sea conditions.
