• Dugong (Dugong dugon): This dive site is one of the most reliable places on Earth to encounter the gentle and rare dugong, often referred to as "sea cows." These peaceful mammals are bottom feeders, grazing on the extensive seagrass meadows that carpet the bay's floor. While sightings are never guaranteed, patient divers often have the privilege of observing these magnificent creatures.
• Green Sea Turtle (Chelonia mydas): We often encounter a thriving population of giant green sea turtles, with over 120 resident individuals known to graze here. They are accustomed to divers, allowing for respectful close-up observations as they feed in the shallow seagrass beds.
• Hawksbill Turtle (Eretmochelys imbricata): Alongside their green relatives, hawksbill turtles are also present and occasionally spotted feeding in the bay.
• Halavi Guitarfish (Glaucostegus halavi): Divers will frequently spot the unique and harmless Halavi guitarfish, often resting on the sandy bottom.

• Surge: While the bay is generally sheltered and calm, some surge might be present closer to the fringing reefs or during stronger winds.
• Dangerous Marine Life: As with any natural environment, we advise maintaining a respectful distance from all marine life. While many species are harmless, some, like the Titan Triggerfish, can be territorial, especially during nesting season. Lionfish, with their venomous spines, are also present on the reefs.
