About This Dive Site
Easy Diving lists Obon Point as a coral garden along a sloping wall at 5–28 metres. Nearby Black Rock listings also refer to the Obon Point front reef. These may share part of the same reef system; the named dives are not assumed to be separate landforms.
This is a partial site guide based on retained dive listings. Conditions, access, seasonal suitability and current operating arrangements have not been checked by a local diver. The map position comes from a published dive-site dataset and should be confirmed with a local operator before planning a visit.

A dated diver observation
A dive.site entry by Roberto Simeoni dated March 15, 2014 reports nudibranchs and both hard and soft corals at Obon Point, with a maximum depth of 21 metres for the logged dive. That is an individual visitor record, not the maximum depth of the reef. It adds a dated observation without resolving the boundary relationship with the numbered Black Rock dives or establishing present animal abundance.
Neighbouring dives that name Obon Point
Easy Diving's lists archived in 2014 and 2025 also place a second dive at Obon Point: the Elco Wreck, described as a nice small wreck at Obon Pt with corals, big staghorn corals and plenty of fish inside, with no depth given. The same Elco Wreck entry appears word for word on Artistic Diving's list archived in March 2008. That 2008 list describes Black Rock as a steep wall dive along the front reef of Obon Pt from 5 to 25 metres with slight current, while Artistic Diving's 2019 page describes Black Rock I as a small headland towards Obong Pt with a coral garden from 5 to 28 metres and a sloping wall, and places Spiral Drop in the bay near Obon Pt. These entries show that two operators with shared wording use Obon Point as a landmark for several named dives; they do not establish where one dive ends and another begins, and the 5 to 25 and 5 to 28 metre figures belong to the Black Rock entries, not to Obon Point itself.
