USS New York (ACR-2)

A pre-dreadnought US Navy armored cruiser launched 1891 and scuttled in Subic Bay on 24 December 1941 to deny her to the advancing Imperial Japanese Navy. The 116 m hull lies on her port side in 27 m of silty inner-harbour water, largely intact with main 8-inch turrets, brass portholes, and propeller visible — one of the oldest divable warships in the western Pacific and Subic's signature wreck.
