A pioneering Philippine community no-take marine reserve founded in 1982 in partnership with Dr. Angel Alcala and Silliman University Marine Lab — a model for SE Asian community MPAs. The 450-metre shoreline and hard-coral wall now hosts >650 fish and >400 coral species, and is one of the world's densest aggregations of resident sea turtles (60+ photo-IDed individuals).
