A seaplane tender near Manglet MDI Divers describes Akitsushima as a seaplane tender near Manglet Island, between Culion and Busuanga. Its account identifies the crane associated with handling the aircraft as a notable wreck feature. The appeal is the vessel's specialized role and remaining structure, rather than a promise of access to its interior. Operator descriptions differ MDI reports a…

A refrigeration wreck in Coron Bay MDI Divers identifies Irako as a former refrigeration ship and describes an upright wreck with a main deck at about 34 m. Deck depth is a particular structural level; it is not an average depth for the whole site or a recommended dive profile. Different reports of the bottom depth MDI places the wreck…

A tanker wreck with a complicated name history MDI Divers describes Okikawa Maru as a tanker wreck and notes earlier confusion with Taiei Maru. A historical misidentification is not the same as a confirmed alternate vessel identity, so the names should not be used to merge separate records automatically. Conflicting maximum depths MDI and Pirates Diving Resort give a 26…

A cargo wreck with construction-material features MDI Divers describes Kogyo Maru as a cargo wreck near Lusong, resting on its starboard side. Pirates Diving Resort describes construction materials within the vessel. These are accounts of the wreck's character, not confirmation that any particular compartment is accessible on a present-day visit. Maximum and average are different claims MDI reports a 34…

Keep the current Olympia listing distinct The Two Seasons Pawikan menu lists Olympia Maru as formerly Tangat and separately lists Morazan as formerly Olympia. Sangat Island Dive Resort makes the same distinction in its naming notes. Historical use of Olympia therefore cannot, by itself, identify which present-day wreck a source or booking refers to. Depth descriptions do not agree Pirates…

Morazan and the historical Olympia name The Two Seasons Pawikan menu lists Morazan Maru as formerly Olympia while retaining a separate current Olympia entry. Sangat Island Dive Resort also describes Morazan as a wreck previously misidentified as Olympia. Keep that historical naming context attached to the claim rather than treating the two present listings as duplicates. Reported depths differ Pawikan…

A separate outing in northeast Busuanga MDI Divers describes Kyokuzan Maru as an upright cargo wreck northeast of Busuanga. Pirates Diving Resort treats it as a separate excursion from the central Coron wreck sites. Confirm the departure location and transport arrangements rather than assuming it fits a standard Coron Bay boat itinerary. Keep structural depths separate MDI reports the hull…

A lake dive among limestone formations The PADI site account, contributed by Neptune Dive Center , describes fresh water above salt water and submerged rock formations at Barracuda Lake. Its appeal is the unusual water layers and landscape, rather than a reef or wreck. KISS Diving describes access over limestone after arriving at Coron Island. Ask your operator about the…
