About This Dive Site
Archived operator listings describe a small coral-covered wreck at Obon Point. The retained pin is farther south in the Hinoba-an direction, so the precise relationship between the historic locator and this source-named wreck needs local confirmation. Current access, vessel identity and condition are unknown.
This is a partial site guide based on retained dive listings. Conditions, access, seasonal suitability and current operating arrangements have not been checked by a local diver. The map position comes from a published dive-site dataset and should be confirmed with a local operator before planning a visit.

What the archived listings say
Sipalay Easy Diving & Beach Resort's dive-site page, in a Wayback Machine snapshot of 29 May 2025, describes the Elco Wreck as a "Nice small wreck at Obon Pt with nice corals and plenty of never seen big stag horn corals with plenty of fish inside." Artistic Diving's German-language dive-site list, in a snapshot of 7 January 2009, numbers the entry "3 ELCO Wreck" and repeats the same English sentence. The two operators belong to one shared historical source family, so the repeated wording is a single lineage, not independent corroboration.
Obon Point as a separate entry
The same 2025 Sipalay Easy Diving page also has its own "Obon Point" entry, described as a "Splendid coral garden of 5 meters of wall sloping falling to 28 meters", and a separate "Black Rock I" entry described as a "Steep wall dive along the front reef of Obon Pt." That shows "Obon Pt" is used as the locator for the wreck and for other listed dives. This guide does not say where the wreck lies relative to those dives.
Directory record
Zentacle's directory entry, retrieved 8 October 2026, lists the Elco Wreck as intermediate, with access by boat and a maximum depth of 49.2 ft. Its descriptive text is an automatic line that calls the place "accessible from shore" even though the access field says boat, so that line is not used here as evidence of shore entry. The directory has no reviews and gives no vessel history. Vessel identity, current condition, entry arrangements and visibility therefore remain unknown.
