Diver's Heaven

About This Dive Site
A slope on northeast Balicasag
Philippine Fun Divers places Diver’s Heaven on the northeast side of Balicasag and describes a steep slope, with route direction depending on current. Seaquest describes a drop-off. This is a reef outing whose route needs to be agreed for the actual conditions.
A range, not a seabed survey
Philippine Fun Divers lists 8–40 m, while its prose describes a shallow top at 10 m. Seaquest gives 10–40 m. These descriptions do not substantiate the previous 7 m minimum, or prove that 40 m is the deepest point of the reef. The previously listed 18 m average has no reviewed numerical source.
Compare the planned route
Ask which portion of the slope is included and what depth the operator intends for your group. Descriptions of turtles and reef fish are not dated sightings or guaranteed encounters. Confirm current, visibility and suitability close to departure rather than treating an operator’s general site rating as a daily condition report.

Coral and sponge detail near the reef edge
Philippine Fun Divers describes brown daisy coral and large bucket sponges along the reef edge between 10 and 15 m. Its table identifies approximately 15 m as the most interesting part of its outing. This is useful context for a reef-focused visit: the published 40 m route limit does not mean that the operator’s highlighted coral scenery requires going that deep. The account also says the slope becomes steeper toward the north, so different portions of the same named site can present a different profile.
The same page lists goldband fusiliers, bigmouth mackerel, midnight snappers and redtooth triggerfish, as well as turtles. Seaquest’s description adds dragonets in the shallows and reef stonefish concealed among coral. These are operator-reported subjects across different parts of the reef, rather than a checklist of animals that will be found together. Seaquest also describes green turtles, but its account is not a dated monitoring record establishing which individuals remain there.
Neighbouring routes and the Alona departure
Fun Divers describes alternatives toward Cathedral to the northwest or Black Forest to the south, depending on current. Those neighbouring names help explain the choice of route; they do not establish that a booking includes all three sites. Its advertised banca transfer is approximately 29 minutes from Alona Beach, around 10.5 km away. Its visibility range is 12–25 m, compared with Seaquest’s 15–40 m. These are different operators’ general descriptions, not a combined forecast. Confirm the actual departure point and the named reef section included in the trip.
